Remember how we had a quiet Christmas? Well that's because Boyers spent it at their new Florida home. The Barandes Trio and Hot Aunt Lisa joined them for a lovely New Year's vacation. Bye bye, Boston!

What would a trip to Tampa be without visiting all of our Sesame friends at Busch Gardens?
Cranking out souvenir pennies.

Hanging out with some fine, feathered friends.

Waiting for the gondola.
Just resting her eyes as we soared over the park back to the entrance (lines for the coasters were far too long for me or aunt Lisa to take a ride, sadly).
We ended our day eating out at Columbia, a Cuban restaurant in the heart of old Tampa (near the cigar factories) over a hundred years old. Despite initial reservations by some members of the party, everyone agreed it was a truly delicious meal (oh the tapas!!!). Definitely worth a revisit on future trips.
