The booth construction finished on Saturday with just enough time for me to catch a cab uptown to see Rachel's graduation from Columbia.
I have known Rachel since we were 2 years old (not that I remember), but we became friends in our own right in middle school. Either way you count it, it's a very long time. She continues to be a faithful Stationery Show assistant and a favorite "auntie" of Sadie's.
As the wife of a soon-to-be seventh year phd student, it's reassuring to note that people do indeed finish their degrees. Getting a job, well, that's another matter...
