I finally finished Sadie's baby blankie using fabrics from Repro Depot that I bought before she was a twinkle in her daddy's eye.
I just decided on the backing, a red flannel, two weeks ago and spent the weekend evenings sewing two layers together in an alternating heart pattern. Finished it all off with a little embroidered "for Sadie, love Mommy" before attaching it all together.
I love it and hope she will, too: little bicycles, alphabets, and a fish named Bjorn - what's not to love?
