Today was our second well baby checkup and Nurse Brown (the NP at the pediatrician's office) is very happy with our progress so far.
When we left the hospital (on day 2) Sadie had dropped to 6 lbs 13 oz (totally normal - they poop out all the fluid they've swallowed in utero, but have little chickpea stomachs and don't eat much yet).
By our first appointment on day 3 she had already gone up to 6 lbs 15 oz.
Here we are on day 7 and over the weekend she gulped down and added half a pound, bringing her up to 7 lbs 7.7 oz. Lucky number seven.
