All quiet on the southern front

This evening's repeat non-stress test was passed with flying colors. I've learned my lesson and we purposely went in when I knew the baby would be active (early evening) and we indeed saw a little dancing act for over an hour. Plus regular (if still unremarkable) contractions.

In fact, when the doctor came in to follow up before we left, he looked back over our charts and agreed that the original due date was probably too early and should have been adjusted to the 15th (tomorrow). So we're not even past due yet.

We're safely beyond having a Pi baby (3-14) but there's still time for the Ides of March (3-15) though I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Jacob's vetoing a St Paddy's day lass/laddie (3-17), though with some Irish blood, who knows? All that gender-neutral green may come in handy.

As if we have any say in the matter...

Fun tidbit from yesterday - the ultrasound tech punched our measurements into their super secret formula to come up with an estimated weight and, drum roll please, they predict the baby is currently 7 lbs 14 oz (53rd percentile in size). Not too big, not too small (and likely they're up to 15% off).

I'm feeling good. Ready, but good.
