Hats, pies, naps, a fair and national TV

This week we were so happy to have "Aunt" Rachel visiting. She was in town for a conference but got to spend lots of time with Sadie.

Favorite past times included: throw the (insert object name here) on the ground and point until Rachel picks it up, taking off the silly beret mommy made me wear, learning how to crawl.

All of these things are very exhausting.

We met Eric and Chau for dinner at Tupelo, which was simply amazing. We will definitely be returning there in the future and encourage any locals hankering for some downhome, Creole-inspired, southern belly-stickers to do so as well.

Our desserts (key lime pie and banana pudding pie).

We're just about ready for Saturday's big open house at Albertine Press. We may have even "out-signed" Taza! We're fighting a chocolate factory for people's attention - I'll take any edge we can get!

P.S. - it would appear that Sadie did have a brief appearance in this segment of Good Morning America today! You can watch the segment online - it's interesting, but if you want to jump straight to Sadie, she's at -1:40 for about two seconds. At least, we're pretty sure that's her...
