What we're reading

I love A Color of His Own about a chameleon friendship - very sweet and the illustrations are beautiful.



Sadie especially likes the pages with the tiger stripes on them.



Before going to bed we've started family reading time where Jacob and I take turns reading bouncing rhyming poems from Shel Silverstein and a collection by Gyo Fugikawa:





I like the Fujikawa which includes selections from Longfellow, Browning, and Robert Louis Stevenson (among many others). Very sweet.

Soemtimes Sadie looks at the pictures, but mostly she's listening and looking at us while she finishes her last meal of the day.
