My birthday was a quiet family day, starting with a massage, followed by a carousel ride and a Blue Man Goo from the Grilled Cheese Nation food truck (blue cheese, peach chutney and balsamic vinegar on Iggy's cinnamon raisin bread). We topped off the night with our first ever hired babysitter so Jacob and I could go see Harry Potter.
Sunday was Sadie and Mommy day. We went to Gather Here, a new local fabric shop. Sadie endeared the whole staff (who photographed her perched atop a pile of felt) and befriended two wool felted Angry Birds.
She also picked out all the blueberries from this mini muffin (love love love the ruler wall).
We followed with a walk to the playground.
Gorgeous sun, brick wall, must stop for a photo shoot.
Sadie is a fish - she simply adores the water.
Eventually we stripped off the soaked dress.
Every happy day ends with a rainbow.
