Our busy bee had a partner in crime the past week in her Bubbie Cookie. There were many, many adventures.

A weekend walk in the park with mom (where Sadie likes to "trade in" her current push car model for the "newer" ones that she passes by). This was a daily trip during the lovely springtime week with Bubbs.
Bubbles, bubbles everywhere. This is one of Sadie's absolute favorite things - she'll ask for bubbles by going "ffff, ffff" imitating the blowing sound, and then sign for bubbles.
Just call her Thelma (from Scooby Doo). Shouldn't be long before we'll need to get her a pair of these cat eyes.
We can't forget our first 1am trip to the e.r. at Children's Hospital. Sadie had a touch of the croup, but after a dose of oral steroids (and a new-found screaming hatred of nurses with stethoscopes) she improved dramatically. One more fussy fussy evening and she was back to normal.
There were daily trips to the park where she continues her pushing antics and has expanded her activities to include wanting to be pushed on the cars (a little harder on the back). Sadie lost her (my) favorite hat, acquired two new giraffes and a bucket full of alphabet magnets, and discovered the joys of nesting measuring cups,
She also took her first steps. And then more steps. And then small walks. And more confident walks. She wants to walk all the time now holding one hand onto mom, dad, or anyone. Often there's no support really in that hand, but the security of it makes her happy. Of course when we turned on the video camera, Sadie thought it would be hilarious just to sit down instead of walk. Sigh. Videos forthcoming.

I turn on the blog a dozen times a day and was rewarded to see more pictures of Sadie and her antics. If she lost a hat, she is taking after her GG who loses single gloves, single earrings, and is a big misplacer! Wish I could see her sooner than later! Much love,GG
