Busy week, with a short trip to NYC (finds from the Gift Show later), visits with the Barandes fam, back to work, learning new things, class with the Groovers. Two fun new tricks - number one is stacking! That marvel above is (mostly) Sadie's doing (I swear I only put the J block on top of the bottom one, the top two are all her) from our block play on the train home.
Game number two: dialing and talking on the telephone. Sometimes she'll put the phone to our ear(s), and sometime to her own. She has also been seen to do this with a calculator (with the screen and the number pad, who can blame that mixup), and once with a stuffed frog (???).
Playing with the abacus at class today - future Mathematicians of America club (dad would be proud).
It's also been a good sleeping week (for the most part). She's been going to bed easily (with the help of Mr. Pig) and now that she's more mobile, she can better reposition herself when she wakes to get more comfortable and go back to sleep on her own. Sometimes this means flopping down on top of the covers.
New foods: lasagna (not the overly cheesy bits), american cheese, cheerios.
Superbowl Sunday coming up (and along with it our 9-year dating anniversary). Who are we supposed to be rooting for again?
